How to Log In to Your Account
Table of Contents
The login feature allows you to securely access your PokéFolio account using the credentials you created during registration. Logged-in users can manage their profiles, access personalized features, and contact customer service via the ticketing system if they experience any issues.
Logging In
To log in to your account, navigate to the login page:
- Username or Email: Enter either the unique username or the email address you used during registration.
- Password: Enter the password you created during registration.
- Need an Account?: If you do not have an account yet, select 'Create profile' to be redirected to the registration form. For step-by-step guidance, please refer to our How to create an account article.
Password Recovery & Reset
If you cannot remember your password, you can initiate a secure reset using the 'Forgot password' link on the login page.
Step 1: Submit Your Email
Clicking the 'Forgot password' button will redirect you to the password reset page. You must enter the exact email address associated with your registered account.
IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTICE
For security purposes, the system does not confirm whether an entered email address exists in our database. If the email address you enter is not registered with an active account, no password reset email will be sent.
Step 2: Check Your Inbox
If the email matches a registered account, you will receive an automated email containing a password reset button. Click this button to be securely redirected to the password creation page.
If you do not receive the email:
- Double-check that you typed your email address correctly in the input field.
- Check your Spam or Junk folders.
- If you still face issues, you can contact customer service directly by opening a ticket at our Help Center.
Step 3: Create a New Password
When setting your new password, it must meet the following security requirements:
- Must contain at least 8 characters.
- Cannot be too similar to your other personal profile information.
- Cannot be a commonly used password.
- Cannot be entirely numeric.
CRITICAL SECURITY WARNING
If you receive a password reset email that you did not explicitly request, your account security may be compromised. In this event, you should immediately go to the login page, initiate a fresh password reset request yourself to invalidate the unauthorized token, and successfully change your password.
