Mega Evolution—Perfect Order Preview: Decidueye ex, Lapras ex, and Lumiose City!
Mega Evolution—Perfect Order is on the horizon, with a release date set for March 27, 2026. This new set of over 120 cards promises to introduce thrilling new strategies to the Pokémon TCG.
Today, we are exclusively revealing six new cards that will make waves on the battlefield, including powerful Pokémon ex, a strategic Supporter, and the famous city of the Kalos region.
The New Stars of the Expansion
Decidueye ex
The Arrow Quill Pokémon draws its bowstring with deadly precision. Its Crushing Arrow attack deals 240 damage and discards an Energy from your opponent's Active Pokémon. Its Sniper's Eye Ability is particularly tactical: if your opponent has exactly 4 cards in their hand, you can ignore all Colorless Energy in the costs of its attacks, reducing Crushing Arrow to just a single Grass Energy.

Luxray
Illustrated by Taiga Kasai, Luxray leaps into the arena. Its Incessant Onslaught attack deals 70 damage for each Prize card you have taken (up to 350 damage by the end of the game). This is a great option for turning the tide of the match in the late game, coupled with its Strong Volt attack which deals 200 damage.
Aquatic Synergy: Dewgong and Lapras ex
Dewgong
The Water type gets a massive boost. Its Wash Out Ability allows you to move a Water Energy from one of your Benched Pokémon to your Active Pokémon as often as you like during your turn.

Lapras ex
Designed to synergize with Dewgong, its Hydro Turn attack deals 30 additional damage for each Water Energy attached to it. After attacking, you must switch it with one of your Benched Pokémon, creating a highly dynamic hit-and-run loop, complemented by its heavy Surf attack.
Support and Stadium
Supporter Card: Tarragon
Perfect for Fighting-type decks, this card allows you to put up to four Fighting Pokémon and Basic Fighting Energy cards from your discard pile directly into your hand in any combination.

Stadium Card: Lumiose City
This gorgeous Stadium card illustrated by MARINA Chikazawa features the iconic Prism Tower of Kalos. It allows each player to search their deck for a Basic Pokémon and put it onto their Bench. However, be careful: using this effect ends your turn immediately.
Conclusion
The Mega Evolution—Perfect Order expansion is shaping up to be a must-have for competitive players looking to control Energy and manipulate Prize cards. Get ready for March 27, 2026, and start imagining your future decks around these exciting new mechanics.
